Meals

Living Faith Early Learning Centre is licensed as a registered food business with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided to the children. It is important for families to provide us with any special dietary requirements their child may have so that we can accommodate for these at meal times. We appreciate that children may have intolerances and allergies and the Centre is able to provide meals accordingly. It is important for families to keep this information updated at all times.

The Centre has a rotating 4 week menu delivering a variety of healthy, nutritious, and well-balanced meals to the children. The menu also interchanges between a Summer and Winter menu. A copy of the menu is on display outside the Kitchen.

We provide opportunities for families to be involved in the review process of our menus, and encourage feedback in relation to the meals we offer and any suggestions or menu ideas for upcoming menu changes.

Water is accessible to children at all times with milk offered at morning tea. Families are requested to supply their child with a drink bottle for use at the Centre.

We do not provide special meals for fussy eaters. The food we provide is child friendly and encourages healthy eating.

All staff are trained in safe food and hygiene practices when handling food. Our cook is a qualified food safety supervisor.

The Centre requests that families provide bottles and formula for younger children who require bottles during the day. These will be rinsed and returned home with your child at the end of the day. Educators will prepare bottles as directed.

As a Licensed food business it is important that families do not bring food into the Centre. While we understand that there are occasions this may happen, e.g: birthday cakes, it is preferred that they are commercially packaged with labelling and the correct incoming goods procedure is followed.

Living Faith Early Learning is a Nut Free Centre.
